Gamma World. 'The Game' pieces. Plastic X's. OpFor. Call them what you will. They are on the Table.

 While hunting some bits, I started pulling out some of the minis from the Box of Forgotten Things and so I did this. These are all of the minis that are painted for 'The Game,' tentatively named OtherWorld 23. Monsters, NPCs, Wargangs, Bugs, Portal Dwellers, Merchant trains, etc.

These are tiny 28mm prints from OMNIForge miniatures. They have fantasy, Star Wars and Battletech prints as well. These are the most detailed and clean prints I've bought. Do yourself a favor and get 32mm!

These little 28mm prints are really hard to get details on. They are as done as it matters really. Independent printer on eBay  

 

On the Table: A gigantic giant, and some OtherWorld 23 NPC's

Pics for scale. The Frost Giant Princess is a metal 50mm sculpt from Reaper Miniatures. 

I've got him a little farther along, but this is pretty close to where he's at now. Still a lot of detail work and probably a coat of some homemade oil washes on certain things and then a repaint is still in order on this project. So far, so grimdark! I finally found my armored up giant. I've been looking for a project like this for a few years now. 

The two 28mm scupts are 3D prints from various shops on eBay.

The Game. Work has started again....

 Picking this back up and forging ahead. The ruleset is no longer Gamma World, but a new set derived from GW 3 and 4, Twilight 2000, d20, Fallout Frontiers, Zombicide and my own sets of mechanics. The Rule Book has been added to the pile. I'm trying to pare down the rules to something efficient and fun, but encompassing a broad spectrum of possible situations at the same time.

A very wide but shallow river if you will.

And this is the new (old) workbench for my tinkering including the 60+ models I've purchased and painted this year as generic plastic X's for the tabletop. Some of them have places in the Play Book (Campaign Manual) already though!

New denizens of The World 2323: Post-Apocalyptic Shaggy and Scooby Doo!

 These guys probably look familiar. One never knows what the probability generator in The World will conjure up next!

 These are great minis for Gamma World. They're Zombicide! survivor set 1.

The big guy is a Reaper Miniatures Flesh Golem.

And a generic scientist - probably created the horror up above!
