A small commission of giant... Beetles.

These were painted up as Fire Giant Beetles. Quick and shiny and ready for the table! Here ya go:

This is the output after applying gloss varnish.

Project 04-26 is complete: A Cyclops named Monster Ballz!

I give you... Monster Ballz the Cyclops! This model is another giant Giant. He came out very good. I'm getting better at the basing (or at least I have better materials!)

The microwave is now the curing station. I don't know why I didn't think of this a long time ago. It's warm and air tight for when you need the paint or varnish to cure! (Just do NOT turn it on!)

Until next time....

Project 09-01 complete. Hecatron the Fire Giant, his hellhounds and... a random lion!

These were all done in pretty much 1 day as the layering, wet-blending and glazing makes you keep going once you start. (can't let the paint dry!) Here they are in no particular order:

Not a great pic - I just wanted this to be the thumbnail on the mobile versions...

***[UPDATED] The giant has his companion: meet Mayhem, the Owlbear!

These two are a pair that I've been wanting for some years now, and just found both of them by shear happenstance. They're 28mm scale minis as far as the details are concerned and would make formidable OpFor on any table.

The Owlbear feathering isn't Standard Operating Procedure colors, but he's a made up thing, so I'm taking artistic liberties to make him look badass! The face and eyes had to be completed first thing as the helmet and face armor would have been too much of an impediment for getting all of the right details in there after it was put in place.

The paint is.... very focused and with more precision than I usually practice. They are larger models which require a wholly different philosophy sometimes, but the detail work is very time consuming to get the proper and correct illusion for the eyes. It's all about the optics, you know.

The giant is a MOM Miniatures Chaos Giant and the Owlbear is by a company called Trenchworx. Neither model is 100 percent yet. This is two months plus of paint so far...

UPDATED PICS 09-19-25. Still on the table:

I'm putting all of my tools into these two.

Natural lighting this morning for all the defects, colors and everything!

Reaper Bloodmane, Gnoll Champion

I've had my eye on this mini for some time, and finally got to put some paint to it. This is a great sculpt:

Nolzur's Marvelous Miniatures: The Night Hag and Green Hag WIP

These are the pre-primed plastic kits from Wizkids 'Nolzur's Marvelous Miniatures' line. Very tiny details and hard to paint right, but they look really cool.

EDIT: New pics of the hag!

This is the finished girl. I'm sad to see her go!

She's a badass bitch! (She'll give you bad dreams, this one...)

This hag is one of the smallest miniatures I've ever painted. A reaper 25mm dwarf is bigger than she is.

New Commissions - bad pictures...

 The latest crop of monsters:

Most of the pictures are works-in-progress.

A Giant Spider for your nightmares.

A Cro-Magnon Giant of some sort. Probably Grenadier.

A Cockatrice, almost done.

A classic Drider.

Reaper Minis Hill Giants

A pair of Iron Wind Metals Skeleton Giants:

And this concludes our Monster dump for today.
