BATTLETECH - 149th ACR BACK ON THE TABLE

 It has been quite some time since I visited the 149th, but I find myself with some time to revisit my minis. So 149th came to the table. I've had a few Mechs that I really wanted to get done for the Headquarters and Headquarters Troop. 

The HQ Lance, consisting of An Archer, Catapult, Raven and Atlas finally has the Atlas complete. This 'mech is the centerpiece of the army and the Regimental Commanders' personal ride, so I wanted to do a more thoughtful paint job, but not so as to make the 'mech look like it just came out of the paint shop. He is mostly complete.

There are 2 Bushwackers and two different Marauder variants for the Sniper Lance attached to the HHT that also has a Bushwacker X-1 mostly complete now as well.

Without further ado - I give you HQ/HHT+

The ATLAS AS-7K leads the way. This is a special edition metal from Ironwind Metals. I'm not sure of the date.

HHT03 is a Raven to spot for all the missiles flying! The 149th uses a RVN-4L variant.

The Catapult is HHT04 and sports two LRM-15's and four medium lasers. This is the original Catapult-C1 variant.

And the HHT's newest [and first] Sniper Lance member - HHT23. A BushWacker x-1. There are a pair of these and 2 Marauder variants in the Sniper Lance that have yet to be commissioned. They are due to have final certifications and be run through the paint factory soon!

Some Soviet Bloc OGRE reinforcements ready for wash and detail, and Alpha and Bravo Troops 151st (M) Inf. The 151st still has a long way to go!

151st Mech. Inf. has begun. Only 9 more Goblins and Infantry stands to go. Oh yeah - and the 4 Manticores. (Shit! Those take a LONG time to paint....)

Alpha and Bravo Troops 7th recon [Danger Close]/ 149th ACR

The recon detachment is complete. Not sure what I'm going to start next.... I have some Gloomspite Gitz, more Battletech, OGRE and WH40K stuff I can paint. What does everyone (all of you many many peeps out there in the internet) think I should start next? Hit the comments!

7th recon with 2nd Artillery support

Some of the minis I completed today. Don't know if I'll fine tune them, or leave them as is...

2nd Artillery models are all complete.

These are all of the models I have designated as 2nd Artillery. The Raven is assigned from 7th recon though, so I may need to buy a few more Strikers and Thors to round out the Battalion. I may also get 4 - 8 light tanks to assign as dedicated defensive units for the 2nd Arty. The paint took a few days to dry, but ended up darker and better looking than I originally thought.

2nd Arty as it stands now. Not a full battalion yet, but everything I have to paint. On to the 7th Recon assets [of which the Raven is assigned].
