End of the Trail Woodburning project from some years ago.

Posted for reference and documentation. The pic isn't great, but it's the only one I've found so far.

This image is called 'End of the Trail' and is an iconic image in Southwestern art. It's really an idea at this point.

I woodburned the image in first and then used stains to color it. The owner had the stand made for it.

Armalion DSA Project 01:06 is up! 1980's era Ork-Marodeure Regiment from the Das Schwarze Auge Box Set.

A little bit about The Dark Age and then some pics of the work.

From The Dark Age Wiki:

The Dark Eye (GermanDas Schwarze Augelit.'The Black Eye') is a German tabletop role-playing game with a high fantasy theme created by Ulrich Kiesow and launched by Schmidt Spiel & Freizeit GmbH and Droemer Knaur Verlag in 1984. It is the most successful role-playing game on the German market, outselling Dungeons & Dragons and has the largest body of official publications for a single game world of any role-playing game.

There are more Ork Regiments to come shortly (or later, I'm not sure....)

I couldn't find my green shelf liner, or this one would've been even more professional-ish.

The vaunted Ork Leader

We wanted to capture an 80's look and feel for these.

This guy came out really well. Looks like an old German Ork Warboss!

Some of the rank and file:

Some random shots through the process:

The basing process is getting more and more elaborate!

That's it for now. I'll be up here in the cupola with the goblins. Until next time...

Updates on the Warhammer IIC.... such as they are.

Not making a lot of headway with this mech, but there is some advancement going on.

He's got some cleanup and washing done after these were taken.

Coming in at 100-tons, the Warhammer IIC Assault Mech is a significantly chonkier mech than the 75-ton Wolverine...

Project 04-26 is complete: A Cyclops named Monster Ballz!

I give you... Monster Ballz the Cyclops! This model is another giant Giant. He came out very good. I'm getting better at the basing (or at least I have better materials!)

The microwave is now the curing station. I don't know why I didn't think of this a long time ago. It's warm and air tight for when you need the paint or varnish to cure! (Just do NOT turn it on!)

Until next time....
