***UPDATED: God of War story is completed 2025 Ps4 Timewaster Lot

God of War is the pick of the lot. Outer worlds is just serviceable in every way, but nothing to write home about. God of War on the other hand is a great game. It has it's flaws, but the story and the visuals are superb. I'm almost through the game, with Kratos just killing Baldur (finally!) last night.

The story is done.

A few screenshots of the people and places of the Nordic Realms:

Commission Project 01-02-25 Crusader Knights

These are a squad of Crusader Knights from The Barrons War series again I believe. Same as Richard the Lionheart. They turned out pretty good for all the freehand paint and the white paint that had to go on, but one of the shields got air trapped underneath the white paint. Not sure how that happened.

This is the culprit. I'll have to do some research.

Here's the comparison with the test colors;

A+ Recommended Timewaster: Wanted: Dead or Alive (1986)

This is one of the finest examples of 80's action flicks you will ever see. Great, great movie and it holds up today. Told you Rutger Hauer would be seen again soon!

Grade: A+ recommend!

Some test subjects for a Crusaders contingent...

These are a WASTES OF TIME! ( and a rant about football!)

First of all - I'm not sure what Resident Evil 2 is supposed to be, but it's NOT the original by any means and I find that it sucks pretty bad. It's just a giant McGuffin Hunt. In fact, they should've called this game Resident Evil 2: McGuffin Hunt. Not worth the time or money. Grade: F

And about the Texas Ohio State Cotton bowl Classic being on ESPN and the Steelers Ravens plyoff game being on Amazon!?! Fuck right off. I started watching football again this year and the seasons are ending with Corporate greed and a P.O.S. shit named Rodger Goodell STILL selling everything out to the highest bidder. This should be illegal, and gambling should be made illegal again as well. Decouple Goodell and the gambling racket from sports. Fuck all of that shit. $#%!#$%@^@!

Rodger Goodell Grade: F For FUCK YOU!

Time for Timewasters:

I only got about 40 percent through this giant open world FPS so far, but it's got enough to keep me engaged. Some good mechanics and great graphics keep it interesting although the grinding aspect could be reworked or done away with completely. The game relies much too much on hunting and fishing to gain money.

And Bladerunner is an all time favorite with one of my favorite actors: Rutger Hauer. We'll be seeing him again soon!

A little bit of holiday cheer:

Blacksting, Wyvern (personal) is complete!

This is the completed Blacksting, Wyvern from Reaper Miniatures. I liked this model so much, I wanted to see what I could do for a personal work. The color palette used was derived from a couple of the basing flock I have from Frontline Games. Forest Floor and Dark Soil.

Blacksting:

The model came with a plastic slotta base, which is not supposed to be part of this model, so I had to do some sculpting on the base to make it much more stable and it looks a lot better than just sticking it in the base as it was shipped. The Artsy Fartsy base building. I've never done anything much in the way of sculpting, but it turned out really well, and the model is supported much better now.

This is the color palette I chose for this project.

The finished project:

The Baron's War miniatures Sir Richard the Lionheart Project 01-01-25

I present Sir Richard the Lionheart for a historical miniatures 28mm line from Footsore Miniatures and Games at Footsore Miniatures

This mini was done in a different style than I usually paint in, but it's effective:
