Time for Timewasters:

I only got about 40 percent through this giant open world FPS so far, but it's got enough to keep me engaged. Some good mechanics and great graphics keep it interesting although the grinding aspect could be reworked or done away with completely. The game relies much too much on hunting and fishing to gain money.

And Bladerunner is an all time favorite with one of my favorite actors: Rutger Hauer. We'll be seeing him again soon!

A little bit of holiday cheer:

Blacksting, Wyvern (personal) is complete!

This is the completed Blacksting, Wyvern from Reaper Miniatures. I liked this model so much, I wanted to see what I could do for a personal work. The color palette used was derived from a couple of the basing flock I have from Frontline Games. Forest Floor and Dark Soil.

Blacksting:

The model came with a plastic slotta base, which is not supposed to be part of this model, so I had to do some sculpting on the base to make it much more stable and it looks a lot better than just sticking it in the base as it was shipped. The Artsy Fartsy base building. I've never done anything much in the way of sculpting, but it turned out really well, and the model is supported much better now.

This is the color palette I chose for this project.

The finished project:
