Cavetroll recommends: Time Wasters

Some good things to waste time by:

Reaper Thorvald, Bear Rider

This mini is a production fail from Reaper. His right arm and shoulder are not complete and the gauntlet on that same arm is pretty melted. I have some Tamiya Putty on the way to see what I can do to fix him, but that side of the model will NOT be the proper viewing angle! I've never used putty and sculpted before, so we'll see how it goes. He's looking really good so far... besides that side of the dwarfs body.

Notice the armpit of the pole arm (pun intended). It's really not there, so his stump is attached to the fur cape. Not a good look, Reaper Miniatures.

The arm has been detached for the 10th time. Is waiting for the putty.

One of my favorite bands comes to Zombicide! IRON MAIDEN THIS ONE

Well, this was a great project. As a long time Maiden fan, I really worked on matching the colors to Derek Riggs original prints on these albums, and doing them justice. Up the Irons!

I think I did right by them:

Link > POWERSLAVE This is one of my favorites! The Harris bassline is incredible.

LINK > Somewhere in Time ... just got finished about 20 minutes ago. Varnish to come after curing!

This is the trooper model right after prime and initial oil based wash.

*UPDATED PICS:FINAL FORM: Lardgulp - Reaper Two-headed Troll - going to a new bridge soon.

This Troll is a great sculpt for a quasi-grimdark creature. I love the way this guy paints! I wanted a grim monster suitable for guarding any bridge. His name is Lardgulp.
