Timewasters - Epic Level Madness: Joker
This movie is a deep dive into madness. A+ level timewaster and a psychological ride down a long, dark road. Travel at your peril.
Joaquin Phoenix has a knack for these types of parts, and creates a Joker here that's on par with Heath Ledger's portrayal. A much more disturbing villain on a personal level though. By personal. I mean that this Joker has personal vendettas that he needs to take care of before his madness sweeps the city (see the last picture).

| Joker is a howling descent into the mind of a serial killer and a pathology that isn't defined in the SAGE Encyclopedia of Abnormal and Clinical Psychology. A very unique madness you might say, but one that you will sink into along with "Jack Oswald White." His real name and origin is undefined data at this point. There is only speculation. In this iteration, he is known as Arthur Fleck. |

This timewaster is a study in a psychopathy so far removed from reality, that the Joker persona finally drags the man down into his universe and doesn't let him go.
Timewaster grade: A-
I gave it the minus for parts of the scene in his television debut on the long-running Murray Franklin Show. I felt that the writer and director toned down the character to appease marketing and sales people, making a watered down reaction at the beginning of the scene. But they make up for it - remember: "You get what you f**king deserve!"

Let's talk Monster Hunter World on PS4
It's.... for other people than me. Pigs with bumble Bee costumes on and little furries running around the place all of the time coupled with the absolute juvenile story and dialog... its a very... woke world. There are too many bright colors and rainbows for me to take this seriously at all! It's meant for certain types of peoples to gather together to share... exciting stories of... mediocre crap in a super-technocolor happy world.
I think of it as a Twilight type movie of games. If you're into the YA stuff - then it's for you. Definitely not me.
Timewaster grade: C-
South Park: The Fractured But Whole PS4 Timewaster: Solid B
If you're a fan of South Park, this one is a gimme. Go get it. It does become repetitive at times, but kicking butt in South Park just doesn't get too old!
Timewaster Grade: B+
The dwarves and the Paladin get a new member and new paint.
Still working slowly on this set. They are not finished evolving I don't think. A new crossbowman has joined the ranks.

The PS4 Sportsball Timewasters
These are good for when you don't want to be playing in a giant open world game and you just want to waste time for a little while. I can't play them very good because thumbsticks, but I can manage once the button setups are reconfigured and bound. MLB 15: The Show is my favorite out of this group!

KinHanK X4 Pro emulator and arcade box - great hardware, atrocious software.
This arcade emulator was on sale from Amazon for $118.00, and after seeing some obviously paid reviews online, I went ahead and bought it so you don't have to. With the hardware configuration this little box has, it should be a breeze to work with, but the software loaded on this thing makes it impossible to actually get any enjoyment out of it. Most of the games don't work because the ROMs loaded for them are just pulled off of old internet sites. The mess that is the menu system makes it almost impossible to do anything but play a game for one session before having to exit all the way out to the menu and restarting instead of 'inserting another quarter" or being able to save anything.
It's a junk buy! Timewaster Grade: F-

We need to talk about YouTube and it's algorithms...
It seems more and more as time goes on, and more foreign coders and DEI employees are let loose on the YouTube recommendations algorithm, that it has gotten to be a shitshow of a platform. Below are some examples of the head-scratching videos that randomly pop-up in my recommendations feed. It's almost like coders are pushing their favs to consumers whether we have a propensity for watching those kinds of videos or not.
I started taking pics of the completely random videos as they would appear in my feed. Then I noticed that it happens way more often than mere bad coding would suggest. The rate at which these outliers appear is more consistent with someone pushing these weird videos into the search and recommendations feed than just plain bad coding.
I give you the worst recommendations over the past 2 weeks:
This first one is the winner of the most random shit I've seen yet.
